YORK, PA, April 26, 2012 – Kairos Health Systems Inc. has chosen Remedi SeniorCare as its new preferred provider of pharmacy services for its nursing and assisted living facilities.

New automated medication dispensing will begin through Remedi SeniorCare. Medication will be packaged in bags for each scheduled time of the day for each specific patient, according to a news release.

Remedi will also provide a medical electronic data system to enter orders electronically and enhance provider connectivity, and a web portal with around the clock clinical support.

The new partnership will affect several long-term care facilities under Kairos Health Systems in the York area, including Homewood at Plum Creek, Luther Ridge Retirement Community, Lutheran Retirement Village at Utz Terrace , Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community, Shrewsbury Lutheran Retirement Village, The Village at Kelly Drive, The Village at Sprenkle Drive and Westminster Village in Dover.
